Returns or Exchanges
The following criteria must be met to return or exchange a Salt Water® product:
- Footwear may be returned at no charge, in original purchase condition and packaging, within 30 days of delivery. All returns are subject to inspection. All packages, including original containers, must be unmarked and not defaced in any manner.
- Must be purchased from Saltwater-sandals.com
- Must be an authentic Salt Water® and/or Sun-San® product
- Must be sent back as a complete pair
If your product does not meet all of the above criteria, it may still be eligible for a return under our warranty policy.

Items purchased directly through our website are eligible for free returns and exchanges* if eligible based on the above criteria.
*Free returns and exchanges are eligible within the contiguous US only.

Please be sure to print and include your return form in the package with your shoes. Place the return shipping label on the outside of the return box. You will be able to track your return here once it has been scanned. Please allow up to 3 business days for the package to track.
Exchange requests are subject to product availability. If the requested item is no longer available at time of return processing, a refund will be provided to the original form of payment.
Refund policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, click here. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items.
Exchanges
30-Day Exchange Policy
1. Eligibility: You have 30 days from the initial order date to return your order for an exchange. The exchange must be for the same style and size group.
2. Condition: All pairs of sandals returned for an exchange must be in an unworn condition. Sandals showing signs of wear or damage may not be eligible for an exchange.
3. Processed Exchanges/Refunds: If an exchange has already been processed for a specific pair, any subsequent exchange/refund for that pair must meet all the prior conditions. Additionally, the buyer is responsible for the shipping costs for the subsequent exchange.
4. Return a Processed Exchange: To initiate another exchange or refund on a pair that has already been processed, please contact our customer service team with your order details. They will guide you through the return process and provide the necessary instructions.
5. Shipping: For the first exchange, we will cover the shipping costs. For any subsequent exchanges, the buyer must cover the shipping costs.
6. Inspection and Approval: Upon receiving the returned sandals, we will inspect them to ensure they meet the unworn condition requirement. Once approved, we will process the exchange and ship the new pair to you.
Shop Pay
Orders placed on Saltwater-sandals.com using Shop Pay as a form of payment can only be exchanged for the same model and color.
Products bought during a Buy One Get One or Buy One Get One 50% Off sale are labeled as a bundle. These products may not be returned individually for refund. These products can be exchanged at anytime within our 30 day return window. If items on the order are exchanged, then refund opportunity is forfeit. In order to receive a refund, both products associated with the sale must be returned before a refund is placed.
